Relax grab some sun, a stroll a stretch on walkways & grassy knolls among ancient abbey walls and foundations. Outside the Yorkshire Museum - perfect for picnic snacking or lunches. A+

I loved this place. It's a heaven in York. The most surprising thing is the friendly squirrels playing around. They get very close to people.

Peaceful gardens. Look out for the multangular Roman tower, part of the original Roman wall.

Always good for a walk. Squirrels! Check out medieval masonary from the Abbey all around the flower beds.
