This is a fantastic museum of NS history and its impact on Cologne's citizens. If you are not a fluent German speaker, be sure to get the audio guide. The English guide is superb.

The prison is very interesting to visit, lots of information and quite moving. Unfortunately this is the only part of the museum where the text is also in English, the remaining 75% is German only.

Off the beaten track but a must go for anyone with a slight interest in modern German history. The prison cells are surreal.

Sehr informativ und ausführlich, so, dass man es gut bewältigen kann und eine Rundumübersicht bekommt über die NS-Zeit in Köln und über die Bedeutung des El-De-Hauses als Gestapo-Zentrale.
